Welcome to the Oxy Poli-Cast

  • Are you stuck in quarantine, confused about the constantly changing world of politics?
  • Are trying to make sense of the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 presidential election, political feuds on social media, and political protests across the country?
  • Do you miss hearing from your professors?

The Oxy Poli-Cast is a new initiative by the Politics Department at Occidental College to help you make sense of the political world around you this summer, while connecting you to faculty experts – at Oxy and from around the country – and current politics students and politics alumni.

Each week, Professor Sardo will be hosting an interview podcast where he’ll speak to political scientists, students, and alumni about politics, Oxy, and more. There will also be a weekly news-round up newsletter to keep you up to date on some of the most pressing political events, challenges, and debates in the United States and abroad.

Expect to see the first newsletter and podcast episode launching in early June and continuing throughout the summer!
